Everyone needs access to great medical coverage to ensure you are taking advantage of preventive care. At Infinity HomeCare, we want you to have peace of mind that you and your family are covered, from “surprise” trips to the E.R., to routine doctor visits, and everything in between. IHC offers all full-time employees a choice between three (3) medical plans offered through Highmark/Blue Cross Blue Shield. The plans offer a variety of network providers, coverage options and employee contributions to best meet the needs of you and your family.
Smile! Infinity HomeCare offers dental coverage to all full-time employees through MetLife. The plan covers in-network preventive services at 100% to ensure that your teeth are in excellent shape. For example, the plan will cover the full cost of cleanings and oral exams once every six months if you see an in network provider. The policy also covers the more “serious” stuff, including orthodontia coverage for your children.
Full-time employees can enroll in our optional vision plan through VSP. The plan covers annual eye exams and lenses after a copay and provides an allowance for frames (once every other plan year), or contact lenses in lieu of eyeglasses.
Participants in the medical plan also have access to Teladoc. Teladoc is available anytime for $40 or less each call.
Employees who enroll in one of our two HSA-compatible medical plans are also able to save money on a pre-tax basis for your share of medical, dental and/or vision expenses. Money not spent carries forward year over year and is 100% owned by you. Amedisys will contribute up to $1,000 a year depending your plan’s coverage level.
We understand the importance of long-term financial planning. That is why we provide access to a 401k to all employees. Our plan is administered by Merrill Lynch/Bank of America. Amedisys matches on a discretionary basis. Currently, the match is $0.375 per $1.00 of employee contributions up to 6% of eligible earnings with Amedisys stock, which is paid quarterly.
All full-time employees are provided a life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance equal to their base annual earnings up to a maximum of $300,000. This benefit is 100% company paid.
Full-time employees have the opportunity to purchase additional life insurance for themselves and their family. Employees can elect up to 5x annual earnings or $500,000, whichever is less.
Infinity HomeCare believes in the importance of disability insurance and offers full-time employees the opportunity to purchase both short-term and long-term disability insurance on a group basis.

Critical illness and cancer insurance pays you a cash benefit if you are diagnosed with a serious medical condition (such as heart attack, stroke, or cancer). That benefit helps reduce daily stress about money, so you can focus on getting better.
Stay on stable financial ground, even when an accident has you off your feet. Accident insurance pays you a cash benefit for injuries (e.g., fractures or dislocations), treatments (e.g., emergency room visits, follow-up doctor appointments, and ambulance rides), and loss due to a covered accident.
