Mr. Steve Karasick is an experienced healthcare leader across multiple segments of the industry including hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, home health, managed care, and pharmaceuticals. In all roles, he has been responsible for defining and driving significant change and transformations aligned to industry drivers and organizational change.
Since 2012, he has been an Operating Partner at HealthEdge Investment Partners, a Tampa-based private equity fund which is focused on healthcare businesses across the US. Prior to HealthEdge, Steve served as Executive Vice President of Integration and Chief Human Resources Officer at Piedmont Healthcare, a $1.6 billion southeast regional healthcare system with 11,000 employees, 5 hospitals and 100 physician clinics. He was the Senior Vice President of People and Technology at Stiefel Laboratories, Inc., a global pharmaceutical Company which he helped sell to Glaxo SmithKline for $3.6 billion in 2009. As a partner with Clarkston Consulting, he led strategy, change and enterprise wide technology implementations for healthcare companies.
Currently, Steve serves as CEO and President of Infinity HomeCare, a Florida-based provider of Medicare home health and therapy services. Steve is a member of the Board for the Georgia Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and is a member of the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Annual Fund Board. He earned an M.B.A. from Goizueta Business School at Emory University and is a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Morehead Scholar earning a dual B.A. in Physics and Geography. Ms. Abbott joined Infinity HomeCare in 2013 and currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer & Sr. VP Clinical Strategies and Innovation for Infinity HomeCare. As a Business Development and Senior Health Care Executive with over twenty years of industry experience, she has successfully led strategy development and implementation, branding initiatives, clinical care oversight, marketing, sales, performance optimization and provision of cost effective, quality health care. Ms. Abbott has had a progressive career in both privately held and publicly traded companies. Ms. Abbott earned her Masters in Business Administration, Bachelors of Science in Nursing, holds an active RN License in the state of Florida and awarded fellow status, within the American College of Health Care Executives. Ms. Amruso is currently serving as the Vice President of Compliance & Corporate Compliance Officer for Infinity HomeCare. Ms. Amruso joined the company in June of 2008 as the Regional Director of Operations and has supported the growth of the organization from two to fourteen plus offices including hospice. She has brought to Infinity over 20 years of home health experience including management, health care administration and clinical consulting. She has been responsible for the oversight of development and implementation of compliance, training and education and policies and procedures as it relates to best practices. Ms. Amruso was responsible for the initial Accredited Commission for Health Care (ACHC) accreditation and the continuing branch accreditation.
Prior to coming to Infinity, Ms Amruso held the position Clinical Consultant at Health Systems Solutions; a software company focusing on OASIS inconsistency review for home care agencies. She held the title of Administrator at Heartland Home Care. Previously Ms Amruso has held positions as the Director of Clinical Services, and Director of Operations Support and in the home care industry. Ms. Amruso graduated from St. Petersburg University with a Degree in Nursing and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration from St. Leo’s University. Ms Amruso is a noted speaker and has presented to the Wisconsin Home Care Association and for the National Association of Home Care (NAHC). Ms Amruso is an active member of the National Association of Home Care (NAHC), Intravenous Nurses Society, HealthCare Compliance Association and is a member and serves on the Legislative Committee for Home Care Associates of Florida (HCAF).BACK TO TOP

Phyllis Mullis serves as Senior Vice Present of Operations for Infinity HomeCare East Coast Region. Ms. Mullis has over thirty years of experience with the leading healthcare providers and her work spans hospitals, homecare, business growth, acquisitions and new and existing business development. She received her Nursing Degree from Armstrong University and holds a current Nursing License for the state of Florida.
Phyllis has developed a diverse network of respected and talented healthcare professionals throughout the industry, and leverages them to the net gain of the organization and the community. She is experienced in Case Management, Talent Management and the introduction of business process improvements to streamline operations targeting optimum performance and clinical excellence. Christine Lennox is Vice President Operations/Corporate Services, for Infinity Home Care, and has over 20 years of accounting experience and 10 years of healthcare experience in both financial and operational support functions. Ms. Lennox graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and joined the company in October 2007. She has had a progressive and diverse career managing the financial and operational challenges growing the company from one home health office to 16 offices. In addition, she has worked closely with Operations and built the foundation of the finance functions, including day to day financial functions, payroll, purchasing, billing and other administrative support functions for the field operations.
She and her husband, Michael, live in Lakewood Ranch, Florida and enjoy traveling and visiting family in up North.BACK TO TOP
